Giles would prefer the Yankees, Red Sox or Angels if/when he is traded mid-season. He's also not going to let his "personal issues" interfere with the team or his game.
- Giles has a dark side, one where he beats on girlfriends in bars and allegedly other things. He's pretty good about hiding it from everybody but his ex-fiance.
- Today felt like the first day of Maddux's retirement. "I'm kind of actually glad I'm not out there running around ... getting my legs all sore,". Retirement sounds awesome.
- Eckstein loves playing Second Base, it reminds him of when he was 12 years old. He must also be reminded every time he looks in the mirror.
