Ensberg does have a connection to the team

He’s lived in the city most of his life. I’ve seen him at games over the years watching as a fan.

Though I feel bad for Neely and his 10 years in the Minors, isn’t that what happens to countless ballplayers. You get called up and if you don’t perform or somebody better than you comes along than you don’t get a starting spot or get sent down.

This is just dumb

I don’t really like the Enberg hire, but this happens all the time. The argument that Neely did an excellent job is ridiculously subjective – and he underscores that point by telling us he’s friends with Neely. What the hell else is he gonna say? Great job sticking up for your friend and all, but your argument is completely without merit.
