Coco Crisp Would be a Great Signing :: Friar Forecast
Signing Crisp addresses that need, but also provides the club with a very solid player who will almost certainly provide value in excess of his salary. MLBTR is reporting
That Crisp chose the A’s over the Padres. It also said that the contract includes an option for 2011. My understanding was that one of the reasons the Padres liked him was because he’d said he wanted to sign a low 1 year deal. I wonder if that option year affected things, or if he simply chose the A’s over the Padres.
