"It's a different puzzle to put together, but at the same time, I think it happens on the base level the same way, so that's what I'm going to be focusing on," Hoyer says of his switch from the Red Sox. "I want to make sure the infrastructure is set up so scouting and player development are run the same way we ran it in Boston."

Ok so i know a fresh out of Bean Town gm is still gonna have the hots for Boston, but come on that’s gotta be the fifth time I hear the “same way we ran it in Boston” comment out of his mouth. Holy crap just don’t do that, like I’m pretty freakin sure Favre didn’t get good with Vike fans by saying how much Minnesota feels like Green Bay. If that makes any sense, I know we don’t have any history with the Sox and whatnot, but not to be a prude—this guy has to be bordering senseless to keep saying that. Note to Hoyer: Padre fans don’t want a second-class Boston team! That might be what Moorad hired you to do, but keep that crap inside the board room with the rest of your dam newly freakin hired Red Sox commies! I don’t even know what that means—I don’t care! JEEsus. GMing might have a steep learning curve but this crap is elementary.
Loo loo loo, I've got some apples--GO CHARGERS!
