ARRRGHHHHHH

Verizon Fios doesn’t get CBS College Sports. Anyone find an online feed of the SDSU game?

Floored

Victorino and Utley turned in two of the worst at-bats I’ve seen this series. Rollins walks on five pitches, and not only does Victorino swing at the first pile of BS from Pettitte he saw (the same EXACT pitch he threw in the dirt four times to Rollins) he does it again the next pitch with the changeup. The whole situation was made worse by Pettitte giving Victorino something to hit with two strikes … awful. Bad approach to that at-bat made moot by bad pitch location. As for Utley, he has to be more selective, especially when Pettite is strug-a-ling. He swung at two pitches that were out of the zone and stares at the one that’s in it for strike three. Phillies should have had five runs in the frame instead of three.

Yes

and it took forever to do it. This is why there’s the backlash against replay from the time standpoint. Girardi argues for three minutes, they take three minutes to look at replays and reverse the call, Manuel argues for three minutes. All would be made moot if Fox got their GDF camera off the playing field but still … these things need to be ironed out. After a call is reversed, there is to be no arguing, no bickering, nothing. Stay in the dugout or get tossed.

Seriously.

It’s not that hard. You just have a dude up in a booth, and if there’s a close play, he buzzes down. The umpire looks at it, and either confirms or overturns.

No arguing, no bsing.

We're boned.

You know, the more I think about it

the more I think Philly would be a good place to trade Kouzmanoff to.

Pedro Feliz is one of the few (perhaps the only?) every day 3B in the National League with a lower career OPS than Kouz. They would appreciate his defense, and his power numbers would get a boost playing in Citizens’ Bank Park.

Get ’er done Jed!

In other news

I think Oregon just put away USC.

Cole Hamels v. 2009

is light years behind Cole Hamels v. 2008.

We're boned.
