Even though I harbor a deep dislike for a good portion of this team (Yes, I’m including your son, Jeffrey Jay McGowan) , and the only person I do like is Jamie Moyer, and they peed all over him with Pedro, I hate the Dodgers with the intensity of a thousand suns, an intensity only exceeded by my hatred for the Cubs.

Really regional. It’s hard to like another team.

In football, it’s easier to pick a team to root for in the playoffs.

I went to

game 1 & 2 of the ’06 playoffs and game 3 of the ’05 playoffs….not impressed with the crowds. ’96 & ’98 were much more electric.

They had a record like we had in 2005—83-79.
