I really hate

the NL playoffs right now. I hate the Dodgers and I hate the Phillies. Is there some way that the air balloon could have landed on that entire stadium and crushed everyone?

That's kind of how I'm thinking.

There’s got to be a way for both teams to lose.

22 inning game?

I think they might be going nuts with music for the series...

They just played the old Motorhead Triple H theme….Ummmm, I mean…. so how is everyone tonight? What was that Lemmy song earlier?

Good for Jacob.

I like it when the teams support each other. Like when Philip threw out the first pitch at a Padres game.

It probably helps that both Phil’s homes, Alabama and North Carolina, don’t have baseball teams of their own.

Phil and Jake are both studs.

It makes sense that they’re friends. And that they both have good taste in sports teams.

Oh wow, you were serious! Awesome!

So how did the interview go and what moves will you make this off this off season if you get the position?

I think I was the minority candidate

that they act like they are interested in just to make the league happy yet the team has no interest in hiring.

If so, you went to the interview wearing that?

Or you like won a contest or something?

It is true

I am Jerry DiPoto and I have infiltrated Padre land by starting not 1 but 2 Padres blogs, 1 of which involves all my Padres merch, then I have posted on this blog here for a while now to earn all your trust. I dressed down for my interview with my buddy Jeff because I knew I already had the job.

I am conflicted...

I would love me some west coast love and have a freeway series just to watch NY, Boston and ESPN squirm in confusion but I just cannot root for the Dodgers.

Dodgers' strength going into this series was their bullpen.

And it just coughed up 3 big runs. Not a good sign.

TBS Pitchtracker

really shows how terrible umpires are at calling balls and strikes.

In Utley’s at bat here, pitches 1 and 2 were in the exact same location. One was a ball, the other was a strike.

Still alive, the Dodgers are.

I think it would be fun to see this thing go into extras, and Lidge to blow another save.
