See guys? Not every incident involving a sharp knife in Los Angeles warrants hysteria on the interwebs and overplayed references to Raider fans in the bleacher seats.

The making of... "The Tammy Faye Baker Story"

The Padres have told rookie shortstop Evereth Cabrera they will not allow him to play winter ball in the Carribean.

At first I was like
man Cesar Ramos got really old and really short in that picture of him and Garfinkel. Then I was like oh OK it’s the mayor of Tijuana. Then I read that Ramos is to start the season finale for the Padres and I was like man they are getting the mayor of Tijuana Jorge Ramos to start for the Pads in a game? They are really taking this Mexico/Padres relationship a bit to far. Then I read that it was Cesar and was like….oh OK that makes sense.

I wondered
“Why is Cesar Ramos’ dad so important? Why does he have Everth’s number?”

Followup
Was there any kind of Kevlar under-weave or nano-engineered polymer in that jersey? Mayor of TJ is a dangerous gig.

I imagine he lives in Chula Vista
and handles all of Tijuana’s business via conference calls

It's
probably true on both parts….A)Kevlar jersey & B)probably lives in Chula Vista
It’s crazy down there right now….I’m not sure I want the Padres to usher in “fans” from TJ right now.
