all time Padres (acquired and home grown) teams

SullyBaseball

From a writer named Paul Sullivan, I've never seen teams that were home grown and acquired. Some interesting players in that mix for both sides

This is some great stuff, enjoy! And hey it beats talking about this team as it currently is, I call it my own little attempt to push some positivity on this site and about this Padre team.

At this point though, please tell me we've had a better home grown 3B then tucker ashford - i mean hell I'd rather put out Chase headley then that.

Also never knew Peavy was in high school musical, that's reason enough to want to trade him!

it was kinda weird seeing that
apparently he doesnt dance (1:55)

I hooked up my accelerator pedal in my car to my brake lights. I hit the gas, people behind me stop, and I'm gone.

I'm sure it's not in the spirit of the rules

But I’d probably play Khalil at 3B and get rid of this Tucker Ashford guy. I was thinking another option would be to convince Sandy Alomar Jr. to play 3B, but as I was looking up a replacement catcher, I saw that Mike Ivie played 92 games 3B (I assume that he was not very adept out there, but Khalil or Flannery could provide some late inning defense) seems like that would make more sense as a home grown Padre 3B. You’d need another bench guy, and after a quick scan, I think Headley actually makes sense, he’s already had a better year than many home grown Padres.
