Baseball Night in San Diego Ch.4 (1/20)
I was just watching Ch.4's Baseball Night in San Diego, and I'm freakin' out, man.
Tony gets his 3000th hit as the Padres rally in the first to knock out starter Dan Smith. Sterling Hitchcock was there, Phil Nevin was there. Ben Davis was even on base. Second base!
Then, when the Expos came to bat, Michael Barrett ropes one down the third base line for a triple.
I got the last laugh, though, because nine years later he hits himself in the face with a baseball and is released by the Padres.

I was just watching that too
I like how you don’t even have to watch 5 minutes before Gwynn hits number 3000.
It's a rare event when I watch TV lately
It took me a minute to put it all together. The date, the uniforms, Olympic Stadium, Mel Proctor….
Isn't it enough to know that I ruined a pony making a gift for you? ◔ヮ◔

do you think anyone gets the pokemon references but me?
Brady Hoke, Al Borges, and Rocky Long. Aztec football is back!

No
But then again, there’s the chance at creating profound realizations for Ballers who are unfamiliar with the Pokémon pantheon.

Used to be
a pokemon fan. I only like the first 150 or something though. After they put in all the other pokemons it just wasn’t the same. Maybe we should start having polls about our favourite pokemons or some games of “Name the Pokemon”. That should generate some interest for arguably the coolest animated creatures around.
