Open Thread: 9/24, Padres vs. Dodgers

San Diego Padres at Los Angeles Dodgers, Sep 24, 2008 7:10 PM PDT

What was your favorite part about yesterday's game?  I think mine was either the suicide squeeze or the ball that dropped between Giles, Edgar and Adrian.  If I had to choose I think I'd pick the suicide squeeze it was just so effortlessly executed.

I wish the Padres would be trying suicide squeezes, hidden ball tricks and that sort of thing.  It'd make watching these games so much more exciting. It'd also freak out other teams.  "These Padres are f'n crazy!  They've got nothing to lose and they just want to F us in the A."

I've never seen much of Manny Ramirez because I hated the Red Sox and couldn't stomach watching them play.  Seeing him play now, he seems in complete control.  Where other hitters let the pitcher dictate what is going to happen.  Manny just seems dangerous in the batters box.

I was really enjoying the Matt and Mudd play by play last night.  Matt said something about how it looked like Manny was hitting balls behind Dave and Busters.  He's just so casual as he drives balls.

Beat the Dodgers!  Go Padres!!

Interestingly enough

I heard an ad on the radio today from Jake advertising some Chevy/GMC dealer. He mentioned that his wife drove a White Yukon….

The Dodgers were a much happier clubhouse without him.
