Open Thread: 9/1, Padres vs. Dodgers
San Diego Padres at Los Angeles Dodgers, Sep 1, 2008 5:10 PM PDT
Here we are in September.
I've never bought peanuts at a baseball game. Peanuts are a very dry snack and they make me thirsty. Instead of just buying a $5 bag of peanuts I'd also have to buy a $5 dollar soda. Now I'm in the hole $10 bucks and covered in peanut shells because I wanted to fit in with the baseball crowd. No thank you. I'll eat fruit snacks, America's favorite snack.
Go Padres!!

Sick!
Matt Anto and his Khalil Greene like Batting Average! Maybe he will do better against Greg Maddux…

after he gets pulled i am fully fine with the bullpen giving it away
i need the win though… hmm, a conundrum, if u will
www.wellbelowthemendozaline.blogspot.com
this is like in 2003
when we played the Raiders in week 17 and the loser would likely get the number one draft pick, and we still wanted to beat the Raiders’ a$$es.
as fate would have it, though, we won and got the number one pick because the Cardinals pulled off a miracle against the Vikings on the last play, knocking them out of the playoffs. If you can find the radio call of that last play from the Vikings broadcasters, I highly recommend. He screams, “NO!” over and over again. It’s quite chilling.
Is it possible to need wins more than Maddux?
