Report from Chargers Training Camp

Stay connected for news and updates

With baseball season already over, Kev and I headed out to the Bolts Training Camp yesterday to see how everything is going.  I tell you what, everything is going just fine.  Charger fans have nothing to worry about…. Well maybe Gates.

Outside of Gates, this year seems very uneventful, which is a good thing.  No hold outs, no major injuries, everybody’s knees look good, and the world is on a 24 hour Favre watch.  Everybody is out there just playing grabass and having a great time.

The only real surprise is how GOOD Rivers is looking.  I was never a huge Rivers fan, but now I can’t wait to see him pass the ball.  Yesterday he was threading the ball in between three  to four defenders consistently, or throwing the ball 60 yards down field with pinpoint perfection.  I wouldn’t be surprised if he throws for 4000 yards this year.  I also wouldn’t be surprised if the Bolts go 19-0!

I was only able to get a few shots before Security accused me of working for the Patriots and made me shut it down.

Gates taking some passes.  I think Gates’  toe is just fine and it’s just too damn hot to be wearing all those pads.
