Pad Squad promotes Elvis Night on August 29

August 29th is Elvis Night. The Padres finally celebrate the anniversary of Elvis' death.

Pad Squadders Teisha, Loxie and Kelly represented the Padres and showed off the poodle skirts they'll be wearing on Friday during the Jack FM morning show. Apparently there will be a concert after the game with an Elvis impersonator, costume contests and Elvis themed food options (renamed Randy Jones?). I was hoping for Petco Park to sell grilled peanut butter and banana sandwiches laced with amphetamines, Elvis' favorite.

August 30th is a Saturday

And according to the Padres website its also cap night. The Friday game is scheduled as Elvis night. Fortunately, the link correctly takes you to the proper game so no one will accidentally buy the wrong tickets that way. Still no change on the peanut butter and banana sandwiches laced with amphetamines, but I am trying to work some magic there.

With all due respect, you are not allowed to find our division rivals sexy.
