Tomko off the DL and into Maddux's vacant spot

PrintThe San Diego Padres activated right-handed pitcher Brett Tomko from the 15-day disabled list Tuesday.
Tomko takes the roster spot left by right-hander Greg Maddux, who was traded Tuesday to the Los Angeles Dodgers for two players to be named or cash.
Once again all is well in Padresville. Rejoice Padres fans!
I actually feel a lot better about today after seeing KT talk to Mud in the Pre-game show. That dude wants to win and he is not happy at all about having to deal witht he Dodgers or getting rid of Maddux, I think he feels the fan frustration more than anyone else in the Front Office. KT is keepin' it down and keepin' it real. Maybe that could be a new slogan instead of "keep the faith".
