What's your favorite place to eat at in the park? Have you eaten at the Omni buffet? What about the Terrace restaurants? The question was asked in one of the previous comments sections and I thought I'd throw it out there.

for carrying my question over, I appreciate it!

The story is that my dad is visiting and I want to show him a good time at a Padres game. He’s not a huge baseball fan, so I’m taking him more for the experience. The food and extra “premiums” like in-seat service are a big part of that.

So which will offer him the more luxurious time out at the ’ol ballpark: the omni or the terrace?

never been to the omni.

i do like the terrace. gets you away from the riff raff.

sometimes i like to be snooty at the ole ballpark, esp with the prices we are paying these days.

Personaly, I'm tempted to say the Omni

Though it’s an uninformed opinion as I’ve never actually sat in those seats before. I’ve sat in Terrace before and the restaurant selection is nice, but the Omni just looks so exclusive.

I just talked to a nice guy at the box office

He said that the omni seats have a semi-obstructed view (because of the overhang and the protective netting) and that, for his money, he’d rather sit in the terrace. However, he did mention that the omni club buffet is “the best food they serve in the park”, so I’m still torn.

It sounds like the seats are above home plate

But you can still sit in the actual club where the bar is. Either way, There is no obstruction, unless you cannot see through a net for some reason.

One thing to add

Just because you have omni tickets you don’t get the buffett with them, you have to pay extra, I think its like 20 or 40 bucks.
