Let's see...

Edgar has FOURTEEN hits in his last 27 at-bats. Let’s sit him.

That makes sense. Even Harry wants to win the Strasburg.

Jesus Lopez.

Oops.

I actually love ComicCon. I’ve been a couple of times…it’s pretty fun.

Well it's too late for you, now.

I’ve already adjusted my plans to steal your costume concept.

I like Day Games

Gives me a reason to go to work with great enthusiasm.

Rather watch them,

than the Dodgers.

by CaleciaPad on Jul 23, 2008 9:59 AM PDT to parent up   0 recs

Fair enough, but

I don’t follow that rationale.

If I’m not watching the Padres, the Dodgers are nowhere on the list of acceptable replacements. And “stand with nose in corner of room” is.

When you live in the OC,

this is the only time I get to follow a game live through the internet. Wife complains when I watch at home.

quite an epic center field battle

between Gey and Harrison…

since when did we have a “position battle” (i’ve read about it on espn in reference to the Tampa Bay Bucs and their 319 QBs, but i’m unfamiliar with it in terms of San Diego sports)

Who's Harrison?

You mean Hairston? Also, are the Chargers the only NFL team without a SB Nation blog? Why is that? Even the Cardinals have a blog.

Maddux

Did you get the memo on Strasburg?

This is funny...

From Tom Krasovic today.

Today’s pitcher, 42-year-old Greg Maddux, is the only Padres player with a stolen base this month.

Roster moves.

They might activate Bard after today’s game. And CY might start Tuesday against the D-Backs.

by Drama on Jul 23, 2008 10:55 AM PDT to parent up   0 recs

saw CY at the grocery store of all places two nights ago.

i’d be so excited if he came back.

i mean i’m a pretty tall guy.

I have Nova ties

But I would Calhoun even I didn’t. Don’t like the way he treats his players. I swear to you – he is going to be the next Woody Hayes.

by Winfield's Ghost on Jul 23, 2008 11:13 AM PDT to parent up   0 recs

he does treat them like shit

in the words of one prominent player “he makes me hate basketball, man.”
