Sucking on the road, Part I
Well, if any of you ever listen to me (which I'm pretty sure you don't) you'd know I've relocated to the Midwest for the next week and a half. That's right, I've had enough of watching the Padres suck from the convenience of my home city so I'm in St. Louis watching them find new and impressive ways to suck. In fact, I'm quite surprised at their current suckitude because I'm used to pathetic offensive showings and constantly playing from behind. The 2 games that I've been to in StL have been fairly entertaining for the first 6 innings. It's not bland baseball, it's just losing baseball (new slogan?).
Missouri people are pretty nice as always, except for a few fans. Apparently winning 3 in a row angries up the blood because we've had a few four letter words thrown our way, and a couple "Padres Suck!" yells. I just tell them "What more do you want from us? We gave you 3 wins." That seems to get them to go back to their Budweiser feeding troughs. A few have been sympathetic and wished us future luck (most of them weren't wearing Cardinals colors).
Well, one more day with Matty V's favorite city and then its off to Chicago for a day off from Padres. Should I root for the White Sox or Rangers?
Sorry no pictures yet. Apparently my laptop doesn't have the software for my camera. Dex and Jonny Dub chronicled non-Padres games from Busch Stadium, it's essentially the same but Padres bring more of the suck.

The White Sox.
When they dolosre it’s similar to way the Padres do.
With a name like Smuckers, it has to be good!
