Smells Like Padres in Here - Friday Edition

You know what I like in my favorite baseball team?  Consistency.  So, thank you Padres, for consistently sucking and not letting the break affect you in a positive way.

I guess Clint Hurdle thinks Bud Black is a worthless manager, too.

Hensley's back and it sounds like a bunch of other guys will be back very soon.

Shedding perhaps a little light on the now infamous NY cap at the All-Star Game.

Tonight, Greg Maddux takes on Braden Looper.  Since he has not won a game in his last 12 starts, there is no reason to think that tonight the Padres will decide to win one for Maddux.  The rest of the team must hate him.  I'm starting that rumor today.  Game time is 5:15pm PDT.

Just think if Winfield had reconciled with Steinbrenner

earlier he could have been a Yankee Hall of Famer.

Ummmm....

What’s going on with the advertising around here? I just noticed this ad on the right hand side of the front page.

Did WG finally get a sponsor for his little version of Smells Like Padres in Here?
