In fact, throwing primarily fastballs, Chris pumped 24 strikes in 29 pitches covering the first two innings. It was great to see him back on the mound.

While I appreciate the attempted optimism
hasn’t Bard gone 1-for-9 in Single-A ball? I just don’t understand why Bard has hit so poorly this year when he was so consistent in 06-07.
