Padres Wives sell Mystery Bags, Padres staff buy for kids
The Padres Wives were selling Mystery Bags to benefit Camp Erin the last two days. Each bag had a signed ball and an MLB authentication certificate inside.
It's nice to see the Padres family doing good work like that for a worthwhile charity. The good deeds don't end there though.
Apparently a Padres security guard bought 40 of these mystery bags and gave them to the Pad Squad to hand out to kids. If you do the math, that's 40 bags for $40... let's see $1600. Following this anonymous employees lead Sandy Alderson decided to match his generosity and bought 40 of his own. So kids got 80 free mystery bags and camp Erin received $3200.
Well done.

As Randy Jones says: "Niiiice!"
Really, the team finds so many ways to disappoint on the field, it is wonderful to hear they are continuing their always good deeds off the field. Bravo.

He wasn't programmed for charitable works
Unless his software received an upgrade I didn’t know about.
