PrintThe Sacrifice Bunt has the first write-up I've found on the DePodesta Baseball Prospectus event, or DePoBaPro as I've taken to calling it in my head. It's a lot of what we've heard before, though Paul continually presents it with great analogies and metaphors to help our understanding. Paul's like the Rosetta Stone. He's the GPS unit of baseball.
Several good nuggets of information along with a few prospective players in the writeup.

I responded that if knuckleheads did no research and attacked me under the guise of balanced "journalism", I’d probably act the same way Alderson does.

I had to take the writeup down. I guess before I got there they asked everyone not to report on what was said. So much for feeling all cool and news reporter like.
Both, but leaning towards the Padres.
Maybe I’ll re-post if they cancel the Padres blogger game again next year.
