Minor League Report
Portland lost to Sacremento 9-2. Brooks Conrad doubled, drew two walks and scored three runs. The Beavers scored a run in the fifth when Will Venable reached on a one-out double, moved to third on a wild pitch and scored on Nick Hundley’s groundout. Chase Headley smashed an RBI double in the ninth.
The Missions shutout Frisco 2-0. Steve Garrison of the Linebrink trade pitched 5 scoreless. Mike Baxter had both RBIs with a triple.
The Storm beat High Desert 5-4. Take that Phantom! Catcher Mitch Canham had 3 RBIs and Cedric Hunter went 2-4.
Fort Wayne won 11-5. Some guy name Justin Baum went 4-5 with 2 HRs and 7 RBIs while playing 3B.

Ugh. I wish I could be there.
