When is Petco going to get this?
In my quest to visit every MLB ballpark I took a trip to Safeco last night after work and stumbled across the gem the Mariners call the Nintendo Fan Network. Tried it out and all I can say is that it was very cool. Nintendo needs to roll this out in every ballpark.

Nintendo doesn't eff around
What’s DS penetration among Padre fans? How many GLB’ers own one?

it sucks that Seattle got that before us.

I got one
and a Wii.
When I took the Safeco tour, I discovered that the majority owner of the Mariners works for Nintendo. So I think that might explain part of this.

Exactly
The guy working the Nintendo booth (who was incidentally a big Padres fan), said that next year Safeco might not renew the naming rights and it will become Nintendo Field.

Nintendo
The Seattle Mariners Board of Directors includes John Ellis (chairman), Minoru Arakawa, Chris Larson, Howard Lincoln, John McCaw, Frank Shrontz and Craig Watjen.
Arakawa was president of Nintendo of America from 1980 to 2002.

Ahh, interesting
I was wondering if there was market research and we didn’t make the cut.
Doesn’t seem like it would cost a lot to deploy once the initial framework is set up.
