Never know if dex is being sarcastic or not
but I agree. At the risk of being called fairweather, or not a real fan, or whatever, I’m so disappointed in our play. It’s starting to get really difficult to watch this team, and I must admit that there’s just no excitement on my part.

Padres fans are the old lady
The Princess has really good intentions and she is, by all accounts, a wonderful person, but we have good intentions too. Rather than just turn our backs on the team, we’re choosing to boo and not let our fellow fans allow the beautiful princess to marry f_ckin’ Humperdink.

good intentions?
The princess had love in their hands, and she gave it up. True love saved her in the fire swamp!

We need to lose the next three
That would be would be 50 losses in 82 games and would put us exactly on pace to lose 100 games. The Seattle series is going to be key because as it stands now, they are going to find a way to beat us to 100 losses. This team HAS to get serious about sucking and put up a fight against the one team that is trying to suck more. They HAVE to find a way to get swept by Seattle. I’m tired of the excuses. No one on this team is any good. There is no reason for us to win a single series the rest of the way.
This team deserves 100 losses.

I completely agree with WG's statement
or at least I do until we play the NL West, get a few series wins and are back in the thick of things.

No more series wins
This is what I’m talking about. No more losing 7 in a row and then winning a series and providing a tiny, tiny tendril of hope. This team needs to forget winning a series for the next few months. They need to commit to sucking. I wanna see AG sit a few games. I wanna see McAnulty at shortstop. I wanna see Khalil in the leadoff spot. I wanna see Trevor start a couple of games. I wanna see Thatcher in the seventh.
KILL THE HOPE. COMMIT TO SUCKING.

I think you need to start a petition
DePodesta in his comments today said that putting up the white flag is a tough sell to the fans. You need to convince the FO otherwise.

i'd probably
enjoy watching the games more if that were to really happen. that’s not a bad idea at all WG.

Way more entertaining
Instead of giving AG the day off, let’s put him in CF and watch him “run down” balls hit to the alleys.

"Did you see that HR the Padres last night?"
“I know, what kind of crap is that. You gotta get under that ball a little more. At least give the outfielder a chance to catch it! And how come our pitchers can’t throw any balls off the plate anymore. These guys will be lucky to lose 95 at this rate.”

Want to gaurantee 100 losses? Hell, 110?
Shawn Estes has a new job. Wherever Aid goes (dugout, home, shopping, etc), Estes has to carry him up and down the stairs.

Buddy has me convinced
That pitchers truly do make bad managers. Gimme the Mike Scioscia’s and Lou Pinella’s. Heck at this point I’ll take Charlie “Da Gangsta” Manuel

What a perfect clip!
Dex made me laugh really hard with this, I do feel just like that old lady!
Like RBS, I am having a lot of trouble watching the Padres this year, even though I wasted my money on the satellite tv package. I am rooting for the 2009 Padres at this point. I really hope they’ll have a center fielder.
