THE SAVIOR

The Savior

Another Padre reliever blows a late lead and the Padres...come right back in the bottom half of the inning and throw a four up on the scoreboard. What?

Injury report.  Kouz thinks he'll be back in the line-up on Tuesday against the Twins. CY has started throwing in the bullpen. Giles has some soreness in his shoulder and tweaked his leg last night running the bases, but he should be fine.

Kouz thinks that the idiotic 5-hour bus ride after the Hall of Fame Game that never happened "may have made his back more vulnerable".

"Everybody loves McFlurrys."

Mad Dog has an ERA of 1.64 at Petco Park this season. He should be 9-5.

Nate Robertson vs. Cha Seung Baek tonight. First pitch is at 7:05pm. Fireworks after the game at Petco!

I will be there.

Section 110 I think. Not sure the row. I’m usually always wearing a radio. :)

My favorite part
It was like room service for the Padres—three walks to load the bases for Gonzalez, the only major leaguer to have driven in more than 20 percent of the runs scored by his team this season.

I believe I said this yesterday, I just love “infield in.”

Off topic a bit...

Anybody else think that Edmonds just didn’t want to play for SD? Two homers today…in one inning. The guy still has pop. Must be nice to get two paychecks like that.

Still waiting for "Baseball Today" to give the Padres some love.

One more thing

Not a big P-Mac guy myself, but it’s nice seeing the Padres get a good constant loop on ESPN for a change. I think A-Gon let him get that just to see him run into the wall. They had the lead.

lol

He was afraid of what Maddux would do to him if he dropped it.

I also think someone dropped a helmet sundae or something over there, he was really taking his time getting up.
