Friars and M's go retro next Saturday...
Just want to tell all Padres fans that next Saturday, the Friars and Seattle Mariners will play wearing 1978 retro jerseys! San Diego will be wearing their jerseys that were brown and gold, and the uniforms will include the '78 All-Star Game logo! The Mariners will wear their retros too, which is a light blue jersey, and they will wear those classic caps with the trident on them. By the way:San Diego had their 1st winning season in major league baseball in '78,going 84-78,led by Hall of Famers Dave Winfield,Ozzie Smith,Cy Young Award winner Gaylord Perry and of course Randy Jones and manager Roger Craig. The M's were 56-104 in '78,the 104 losses were the worst in franchise history...but they were an expansion franchise! If anyone has any memories of '78 or the Padres uniforms through the years, feel free to post. By the way:1978 was the year I saw my first Padres game on TV:Pirates vs. Padres from San Diego Stadium!

Trust me, death is the best argument for moisturizer.
Yea!
I’m going both nights. Did you know you an just swap out tickets for better ones that are the same price? I have tickets in section 308 and if you move over to 306 (or 304 or 302 etc) you have to upgrade your season ticket package (mine is only 20 games). But we just went and swapped our Sunday the 29th tickets for Saturday the 28th and got tickets in section 300 row 8. Also, the 28th is supposedly a premium game. How does that make sense? What’s to stop me from swapping out all my tickets for better seats?
I watched all 22 innings and all I got was this lousy signature.
i'm going both nights too
are you dressing retro style?
i did not know you can sawp your tickets
