warning that attending the convention centre tomorrow MAY incur traffic but not to worry coz it was a Rockies game which are usually not very well attended.

that they are starting Estes now on Tuesday rather than Ledezma. Makes some sense I guess to move Ledezma back to long relief, but still – kind of surprised.

has been throwing really well at AAA. But Ledez has been throwing really well…IN THE MAJOR LEAGUES. So I dunno, maybe there is some nagging injury that Ledez exasterbated but who knows.

they brought Estes up as a starter – hasn’t started in 2 yrs, but that was primarily his role in the past. And if they are going to cut loose Thatcher or Rusch tomorrow, they want Ledezma to be the left-handed guy in the pen.
Could certainly see Estes going south in a hurry, though.

He’s been overused by Black, not just fatiguing him but letting hitters get really long looks at him. I think he could be a lot better if he wasn’t automatically summoned every 7th inning.

They can only do so much, short of trading/releasing everyone. At some pt, guys are gonna have to hit and guys are gonna have to get hitters out. Gerut could hit .400 and it won’t matter if the guys behind him don’t hit.
