Seriously. I let this girl(An A’s fan of all people) I was dating borrow my lucky Khalil Greene jersey, then we split. She still has it and the Padres have been doing crappy ever since. I need to get it back from her. I think just about everytime I wore the jersey when i watched a game, Greene hit a home run. I need it back.

I’d venture to guess that, given the situation of bases loaded no outs, the league average for runs scored would be pretty darn close to 2.
of course, the padres average is about 0.5, but that’s another story

I respect the hell outta the guy and everything he’s done for the game and the country, but boy, he is effin hard to listen to. I tried to give it another shot last season on one of those east coast getaway days (10am SD start time), listened to him for 2 & 1/2 innings without hearing the score one effin time.

But this is another situation where the bases are loaded. There’s a force at every base. Don’t you want a ground ball at that point to turn a double play? Let me think….do we have anyone on the staff who is ONE OF THE MOST EXTREME GROUND BALL PITCHERS IN THE MAJOR LEAGUES? Maybe a sidearm sort of guy, scruffy-lookin? Anyone? Anyone?
