Padres SS Khalil Greene, who left Sunday’s game with an eye irritation, probably should have had his eyes checked again before return Tuesday at Atlanta. He went 0-for-4 with four strikeouts.

A while back when GLB was asking for 2008 predictions of how the team/players would do I wanted to boldly predict a 30-35 HR season for Khalil, but I didn’t. Maybe I should have predicted how large his sombrero collection would get.

At this point we may be lucky if our outfielders hit that many HRs combined.
