Smells Like Padres in Here - Wednesday Edition
I was going to link to four articles like I normally do, but, really. I think one article about another loss is all we need today. Three more would seem like rubbing it in.
Ledezma will replace Germano. Because he is way more exciting than Geer, Ramos, LeBlanc or Inman. (Honestly, Front Office. If we are going to be terrible, that's fine. But could you give us a reason to watch the games???)
The long flight from Portland to Atlanta just really isn't a good excuse to not get Gerut into the lineup.
The pitchers in the NL West can also hit.
The Wolf versus Tim Hudson tonight. If you can't find a hammer to hit yourself in the head with and need another way of self-torture, game time is 4:00pm PDT.

If Gerut isn't with the team when we start play against Colorado, I'm gonna be mad.

He'll be there
and hopefully Edmonds won’t be.
Could someone please smack Khalil upside the head and tell him to start hitting and stop K’ing?

Anybody hear "The Truth" with KT on Tuesday?
KT said (I’m paraphrasing) that some changes will need to be made and that some of the veteran players we brought in to be leaders may have to deal with that.
Now, we basically brought in 3 vets. Edmonds, Iguchi and Wolf. I don’t think Towers was talking about Iguchi or Wolf.
I watched all 23 innings and all I got was this lousy signature.

Nice tags.
Re: the pitchers who hit article—I’m all for respecting one’s opponent, and showing class/humility/etc….. But when our team is in the toilet, I don’t need to read a long article in our hometown newspaper about how scared Greg Maddux is of Micah Owings. I would much prefer if he’d gone nuts and threatened to eat Owings’ children a la Mike Tyson, and then said something derogatory (racist?) to the reporter.
But that’s just me.

That one is much better
Owings is at the top, no question, but the entire article doesn’t gush about him.
