I'm not so sure
that isn’t Kouz’s left hand. It looks just like his right hand which is clenched down there by his waist.

You need to watch it in super slow motion
that’s why I believe there were actually two balls on the field at the time.
i thought he was safe right away
and in every replay
but when no one said anything i thought i was just crazy
if he was safe it makes me a little mad that mudd or scan or anyone didn’t say anything
you can not keep bumping your head against reality and saying it is not there.
The only way that image is Kouz's hand...
is if Kouz’s hand was thrown from second base into the mitt of the first baseman.
And if this is truly the case...
Ray Durham must have been hiding Kouz’s hand in his pocket. Which begs the question: Why did Kouz have his hand in Ray Durham’s pocket?
This was a terrible call
My daughter and I were sitting right by 3rd base when this happened.
It was pretty obvious it was not a triple play, but at least I got to say I saw a “triple play”. I’ve never seen one live before.
