Evil Rival Mariners hate lesbians

080528sabrinaguerreromy7_medium

This is pretty shameful. RTFA, then come back.

I don't know this for sure, but every park I've been to has some kind of "Kiss Cam" feature between innings. Total and complete bullsh*t to send out your code of conduct as a reply with "displays of affection are not appropriate in a public family setting" in it. The same family setting where alcohol is served, wallets are publicly raped, and naughty language flies like peanut shells.

Supposedly this all started because it all started because someone didn't want to explain to their child why two girls kissed.

Incendiary headlines by a wide margin. :)

Mariner's management misses the boat

They should be more concerned about the fact that watching the Mariners play is like kissing your sister. If it feels good, there’s something wring with you.

The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at or repair. Douglas Adams

Clearly you've never been to wrigley field...

though that would definitely be one of the few staiums where the people in charge assume those in attendence would prefer to pay attention to a baseball game.

But it’s in the article so I took it. I like a picture with my fanposts. :)

Part of it...

It’s my day off but I have to go push some ink at 4:30 EST.

Excellent

It’ll be like old times. Except for all the losing.

I watched the 18 inning extravaganza

with a head full of mushrooms and it was like none of the losing ever happened.

It was an accident...

I was really hungover looking for coffee and one of my friends said “here’s some tea” and it got really weird from then on.

I vote yes.

Why?

I’m guessing to generate moisture of some sort.

They were merely exchanging long protein strings.

If you can think of a better way to do it, I’m sure they’d like to hear how.

For our enjoyment.

Now pass the CrackerJack and be quiet, they’re going at it again!

Kiss Cam

Best Kiss Cam moment was at an Angels – Yankees game in Anaheim. The Kiss Cam was placed on the Yankees dugout…trying to encourage some gay kissing from the players.

I vaguely remember hearing a PA announcement two weeks ago in Seattle that said "No public displays of affection"

At first I thought it to be an odd announcement, but then I got distracted by something.

Presumably chicks making out.

by Wes on May 30, 2008 1:35 PM PDT reply actions

I imagine they were gratuitously making out, given the Tila Tequila involvement

that has come to light. That being said, I’ve had a group of teens yelling the worst vulgarities you could imagine toward the field directly behind the seats which me and my family occupied, and they managed to “somehow” avoid Safeco security (the most offensive slur, IMO, was calling Jose Vidro a “native of mexico who enjoys chugging male bodily fluids,” though obviously in more vulgar terms. In retrospect (and I imagine forever more) I wish I’d turned around and told them to shut up or I’ll destroy you, but all I wanted to do at the time was enjoy a baseball game so I ignored.

I think this is a case of a particular usher deciding to enforce the rules given the grounds of a complaint made. Although as long as Bill Bavasi is the general manager of the Mariners, we will always be the dark side.

Someone say something witty.
