They should be more concerned about the fact that watching the Mariners play is like kissing your sister. If it feels good, there’s something wring with you.

though that would definitely be one of the few staiums where the people in charge assume those in attendence would prefer to pay attention to a baseball game.

Best Kiss Cam moment was at an Angels – Yankees game in Anaheim. The Kiss Cam was placed on the Yankees dugout…trying to encourage some gay kissing from the players.

That being said, I’ve had a group of teens yelling the worst vulgarities you could imagine toward the field directly behind the seats which me and my family occupied, and they managed to “somehow” avoid Safeco security (the most offensive slur, IMO, was calling Jose Vidro a “native of mexico who enjoys chugging male bodily fluids,” though obviously in more vulgar terms. In retrospect (and I imagine forever more) I wish I’d turned around and told them to shut up or I’ll destroy you, but all I wanted to do at the time was enjoy a baseball game so I ignored.

I think this is a case of a particular usher deciding to enforce the rules given the grounds of a complaint made. Although as long as Bill Bavasi is the general manager of the Mariners, we will always be the dark side.
