Yea! A double-header
I got two for the price of one. I saw a 9 inning slugfest and then a nine inning pitcher's duel. And... and... and... wait for it... A win!!!! OH MY GOD! JESUS LOPEZ! My first live win since opening day! And all it took was 18 innings. WORTH IT!. My record improves to 2-7 and I get to say I was at the third longest game in Padres history. Loved the Josh Banks stuff. I love great pitching so much and it's so much fun when it's live. Also, I love Dusty Baker. Taking out Adam Dunn. Genius! Burning a pitcher to bring in a lefty to face Giles. Brilliant! Doing again after it burned you once and your long man (Fogg) is out there for less than an inning. Fantastic! Sending out a disinterested Volquez and never calming him down after he looked like he no longer cared about the game. Magnificent! And, you can't mention Reds manager Dusty Baker without pointing out that leadoff man Corey Patterson was 0-8 with a sacrifice bunt. Brillianterist! (That's a perfectly cromulent word) I love baseball. Oh yeah, and we didn't lose the series, which is almost like winning a series.

Dusty Baker...
Went through two boxes of toothpicks, one per nine innings.
