So...uhhh...
I turned on the game about 15 mins ago and Pujols has single handedly taken out the Padres battery…and I know, he’s not to blame at all..but…...OUCH!!!
It's subconcious
I still hate him from when he took a swing at Gary Bennett after he though Eaton hit him on purpose with a curveball.

Nothing good has happened to this team since
the moment Milton Bradley stepped on Mike Cameron’s hand and subsequently had his ACL torn in half in that same game. That was such a freak set of occurrences, it seemed we might never see such thing again in our lifetime….
Only to be quickly followed by: Tony Gwynn Jr., Hoffman meltdowns, Holliday not touching the plate, Milton then leaving, Jim Edmonds, Peavy on the DL, Christ Young’s face destroyed in the same inning as Josh Bard goes down probably for the season….
Um. What’d I miss? I’m dangerously close to sounding like a Cubs fan, complaining about cows and goats and black cats and such.

Brian Barton's Higher Calling
Cardinals’ Barton is a space case,Yahoo Sports
“
One day, he wants to go into space. Brian Barton turned 26 earlier this week, and though the astronaut dream tends to die about the time hormones bloom and adolescence rages, Barton never could abandon it. “The sky’s the limit,” he likes to say, and in this instance, he does so standing in front of his locker in the St. Louis Cardinals’ clubhouse. He takes the cliche literally and figuratively, the former in his desire to float in the atmosphere and the latter in the career he has carved out in the meantime.

The umpire was hilarious there
He knew Wally was faking and didn’t even take it seriously

Hey I just thought of something
Hairston started in LF vs. a righty. Weird. When was the last that happened? What happened to PMac (not that I want him out there)?
I watched all 23 innings and all I got was this lousy signature.
"Hairston is a player on this team. As a player, you got to play sometimes."

Didn't Matty say that they're receiving criticism for not replaying the shot?
Who is calling for them to show it?
It doesn't matter
It’s linked on Padres.com. You can watch it onDemand as much as you want. Ch. 4 is wasting it’s moralities.
I watched all 23 innings and all I got was this lousy signature.
That's what I'm saying
You don’t have to play it ad nauseam, but it is newsworthy. You don’t think it’s going to be all over the news tonight?
This Shoemaker is an imposter...
He doesn’t look Malaysian at all.
The right man in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world.
Oh yeah
I dunno if someone posted it here, but CY:
Broken nose, face laceration.

I see a "possible"
Now it’s definitive.

Pujols
How is it that we even manage to get this guy out?? and for that matter why are they even pitching to him… hes a known Padres killer

did someone in the stands
just say “what happened to your thy master”???
you can not keep bumping your head against reality and saying it is not there.
Did catch that
but there is definitely a lot of chatter in the crowd tonight.

i've seen him do it before
but it is very rare that he gets above 88

July 31, 1996: Traded by the San Diego Padres with Bryce Florie and Marc Newfield to the Milwaukee Brewers for a player to be named later and Greg Vaughn. The Milwaukee Brewers sent Gerald Parent (minors) (September 16, 1996) to the San Diego Padres to complete the trad

I think everyone's a little nutty
It’s been such an odd game, there is a weird buzz. Like the 22 inning game but it’s only the 7th.
So at what point of the season do our guys start fighting each other in the dugout? It seems inevitable at this rate.
Barrett isnt back yet
Barrett has to come back before that can start

True, but he has looked pretty good in his rehad stint so far... so maybe its a sign of having a decent hitter besides Agon

ummm
Giles and Kouzmanoff are fairly decent hitters

i think at this point
the padres defensive backs and wrs could play better ball than this
i love the padres but
it pains me to watch them play such terrible baseball. i won’t go rooting for some other team though.
I have fantasies about hotter, younger baseball teams
But my religion-the San Diego Padres-prevents me from acting on them.

Bad things happen to good people like CY and Bardo
The Padres suck even worse when those bad things happen

The cure for a losing streak is definitely to lose your best two pitchers in the same week
So, I’m optimistic.
Actually, the less CY and Jake pitch this season, the better.
Save the bullets for when it matters. This is a disaster.
they should just call up the portland beavers
kill 9 birds with 1 stone

That would actually be kind of awesome
Briefly. I would eventually want A-Gon, E-Gon, Kouz, Gooch, Giles and Greene back.
i ffeel bad for my dad
he bought a 13 game pack and this is what he gets

But CY is concious

He looked like he was about to get up right after getting hit
But the medical staff seemed to tell him to stay down.
Can we get a bodyguard on A-Gon, stat?
Being the best player we have right now, he’s in line to have something horrible happen to him.

So who are we calling up?
A pitcher and a catcher?
Headley?

Probably Morton since he's on the 40 man
Pitcher only gets called up if CY goes on the DL, which isn’t certain. It could be Hensley, Wells or Banks.
