Around SBN: Despite Relocation Drama, Coyotes Overcome Adversity

The weighlifting routine I did in High School I would not recomend today. Many of the lifting done at the gym today are not good for baseball. The ones I can tell you to not do are overhead press, regular bench press instead do dumbell bench press, lots of side shoulder raises with 10lb weights, if you can wait till next year my two brothers and myself are planning to open a batting cage and weight training facility in the county, not sure exactly were yet but probably south bay.

Adrian Gonzalez talks about weight lifting and opening a training facility in San Diego.

Batting cages, you say?

They better have real baseballs. I want to hit a real baseball so badly. I can’t stand those soft, safe, rubber balls. The feel is just not the same.

real baseballs

JBRO was saying that there is a batting cage up in North County with real hard balls.

Ok

The cage that I go to in Carlsbad/San Marcos is called Prime Time Sports Academy. They have rubbers in the cages most of the time, but if they aren’t that busy, and you are nice to the people that work there, they have buckets of leathers that they will put in the machines for you.

Same thing with Lumber Yard in San Marcos- although I believe they have one machine strictly set aside for leathers and they will adjust the speed for you accordingly.

We've all experienced those delirious moments where one thing leads to another and you find yourself at the end of the night messing around with sheep. It's something we all have in common. -jbox

On it.

Have to check out the Lumberyard, too. Hadn’t heard of that one.

When I went for a holiday

I stayed in Carlsbad. Too bad the only batting cage I went to during that holiday was the one in Chuck-E-Cheese. Altough I sucked at it(my first time) it was a lot of fun. I wish there were some batting cages around here.
