"We might be able to take three out of Chicago; that might be one of the first things to turn it around," said first baseman Adrian Gonzalez, whose excitement was fueled further by word that his brother Edgar, a utility man, will join the Padres in Chicago to replace on-the-outs rookie Callix Crabbe.
Giles and Giles was delightful for their wacky antics. Maybe Gonzalez and Gonzalez will be delightful for offensive production. Padres find pop at Petco Park

Painful
I love Adrian…but I’d almost rather he didn’t even bother speaking to the media. “We might be able to take three out of Chicago…”? This is where this team is now? Just hoping to win three out of four?
And as much as I love E-Gon and want him on the 25-man roster…is letting Callix go really a smart idea? Can we really afford to make a move that actually makes this team slower?

yeah i dunno about callix
they must’ve looked at all the stolen bases over the weekend and figured we were quick enough.

Me either
Still head-scratching on this one, thinking it had to be those errors that got him run.

Bummed about Callix
Think the guy needed a bit more time. What happens to him since he is Rule 5? Does he get offered back to the Brewers? Can we put him in our farm system now?

It seems
they are trying to work out a trade with the Brew Crew so we can send him to AAA

Why couldn't you guys take 3 out of 4 from us?
We just swept “the best team in the NL”.....whatever that means.
As I've told you before, I never repeat myself.
