good job by willy to slide to avoid contact. his coaches might be annoyed at him about putting the ankle at risk, but better than taking somebody out completely i guess.

I don't know what that trash was....
I tuned in to watch the 2008 Padres. I am not paying good money to watch a competent baseball team. Homers, hits, dominant relief outings? What the hell?
My favorite part? Cla’s outing. Bases loaded, no outs, comes in and picks Young up with a DP and a K. Makes me think of all those situations Thatcher pitched in…..
Always nice to see Greene hitting at Petco, too. Poor bastard—Petco swallows him.
All in all, seeing CY in good form, the power coming back, and the bullpen solid…..God, it almost gives me hope…

Those two errors in ATL
Really hurt Crabbe I think. They want someone who they feel comfortable with playing 2B. Personally, I would have ditched Huber. With a switch hitter now playing CF everyday and Shrek and PMac platooning left, I’d rather have a designated pinch runner/play-everywhere-in-a-pinch-player than Huber as the #3 pinch hitter against lefties only. Seems like bad roster construction.
I watched all 23 innings and all I got was this lousy signature.
