Around SBN: Knicks Beat Lakers With Familiar Strategy

(Portland) Beaver Believers

Any other GLBers in the Portland area? I thought it would be fun to do a "wisdom of the masses" type amateur scouting gig watching some AAA ball at PGE Park this year. At any rate, it'll be a lot of fun to watch Chase Headley mash in the PCL before he gets called up.

Reading a lot of Mariners blogs, those guys have their fingers on the pulse watching prospects AAA in Tacoma and low A ball in Everett. Would be nice if the Padres blogosphere could do something the same.

Beavers

I usually try to make it to a dozen or so weekend games during the season. The Cardinals are my favorite team, but the Padres have been kind of an adopted "second favorite" in recent years.

I'm really rooting for this

If nothing else, kidlondon and madding could provide game bullets and the rest of us can make wild speculations. :)

Padres Prospect Report

If you haven't already, check out Peter Friberg's "Padres Prospect Report" over at Ducksnorts (although, to be honest, I haven't seen one in a while).
