Why does the national media still piss me off?
All day yesterday, the only thing I heard on both ESPN and Fox Sports was the same tired shid about Trevor needing to retire or be demoted. Today he tosses a perfect fuggin' inning and not a word is to be heard. I don't understand the rabid minds that demand this sort of knee-jerk sensationalism. In today's media the only triumphs that are documented are the ones that have a nice, even number attached... or happen in New York or even farther north. It's the same old bitchfest that we have all been crying for years but I just needed to vent on the unadulterated absurdity of a time-old quandry.

Well, yeah, of course.
But they're talking about the Padres all of the time. My point was that if you're not on the right coast, the only thing fascinating about you is when you fail. It's the nature of things, I suppose but I enjoy some righteous anger whenever I can get it.

Don't look at me
I'm usually just grateful they bother to mention the Padres at all. I mean, Jake only has to strike out an unheard of 16 batters in order to get a little air time, and then he's usually stuck in between the latest college basketball second-rater and a high school football player who may or may not ever get drafted.
It's pathetic, but if they're bitching about Trevor, at least they know the Padres exist. And I know, in my heart of hearts, that they're idiots and Trevor is awesome.

Padres.com
I was looking at padres.com last night and saw that they had a replay of the game on the right side. Lots of highlights. Yesterday, I was watching Baseball Tonight and the game only got less than a minute of airtime. I WAITED ALL NIGHT JUST FOR THAT!!!
I'm trying to think but nothing happens.

That's why
I stopped watching!
Even with DVR it's just ridiculous. I have better things to do ( I think).
