I will admit it. I fell asleep for a relatively good portion of last night's game, though I did manage to rouse myself from a delightful dream about growing kiwi fruit in what I believe was my third grade classroom to witness Trevor Hoffman lock down his first save of the season despite being somewhat despised by  "in the know" Padres fans.

I will, however, do my best to remain conscious for tonight's game as the Padres attempt to demonstrate that they are indeed the best 1-2-3 in all of baseball. I will also readily admit that I am feeling rather hopeful that Justin Huber will play in tonight's game and somehow manage to upend himself into walking on his hands as he did in his previous performance. I am envious of people who can walk on their hands. Envious indeed!

falling asleep

i actually fell asleep also. i woke up occasionally to see who was pitching. i missed the 8th completely and only woke up when i heard hells bells playing. i sat up immediately, almost kinda like a zombie. it was kinda funny. i chuckled to myself a little :P
