Smells Like Padres in Here - Tuesday Edition
The entire organization is anxious for the month of May. And here's why.
Prior is back on track...but Barrett is not.
Anyone up for a road trip to the Dominican Republic?
Corey Brock answers questions from fans who apparently have never heard of the Internet. I used to think the readers of Parade Magazine were the laziest people on the planet, but these "fans" that Corey has to deal with are making those people look like smarty-pantses.
Maddux goes for number 350 tonight in Philly against San Diego product Cole Hamels. Game time is 4:05pm PDT.

Question for Corey
Is Adrian Gonzalez still on the team? Just wondering. How ‘bout now? Is he on the team now?

Adrian is firmly embedded on this team going forward. You see, the offense is struggling, but Adrian is the best offensive player. It wouldn’t make a lot of sense at this time to move him. I’ll give an update on this issue if anything changes.

I watched all 23 innings and all I got was this lousy signature.

Dominican Republic is the party spot
for Rush Limbaugh. He must like baseball, a lot.
Baseball is like church. Many attend; few understand.

What's up with all of these errors in the Union Tribune?
Yesterday, it said that the 22 inning game was on April 27 and today on the “Looking Ahead” section, it said that “The Phillies had a 4-3 edge on the Phillies last year.” Do they even bother to edit anymore? Or do they expect us to skip the whole section because we can’t bear to read the same crap on the Padres over and over. And I’m still mad about the special section that comes before opening day that listed Merv Rettenmund as the hitting coach.
Scott Olsen is the only reason I know what "subordination" is. And can remember the defintion.
