Smells Like Padres in Here - Wednesday Edition

Once upon a time, we had a bullpen that was awesome.  Now we do  not .

Barrett is working on the elbow .

Kouz hasn't had a day off yet.

The Houston broadcasters mentioned this article on Tommy John surgery last night.

Matt Antonelli likes ice cream and a few other things.

Maddux goes for 350 tonight  against the Giants and Matt Cain.  He has not lost to the Giants since 2003.   Game time is 7:05pm PDT.

Question is...

Which curse is stronger?

Matt Cain’s determination to post a sky-high total in his L’s column regardless of stellar performances.
or
It’s April for the Padres?

The right man in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world.

We suck and even our positives are negatives;

We’re obviously the worst team in baseball.

the good news is

that I won’t be loaning the Padres money this year in August when they ask for my playoff tickets….then refund me in Late January

The Rockies

They’re better than us at everything. I’m calling on the 17YOGP and the 18YODS to one-up this girl.

Seeing as how I'm not a pedophile...

I’m just calling on the 18YODS.

I've got a theoretical question

Will members of the 17YOGP always be in the 17YOGP, regardless of their age? Or will they eventually graduate to 18YODS status?

They graduate

all former 17YOGP I believe have moved on to the 18YODS and coincidentally stopped visiting Gaslamp Ball.

Ha!

I’m imagining a homemade e-card with Jesus and Mary Chain’s “Teenage Lust” playing, with a greeting like “Congraduation 17YOGP! Welcome to my Flirt Lair!”

I did learn a valuable lesson, though:

That NBC reality show I was on?

Or it may have been a nature show. Something about predators.

I am sure

They are all busy studying hard in their senior year, and getting ready to graduate. They’ll be back…

Okay

So maybe it’s not time to sh*t ourselves… yet.
