Opening Day Countdown

OK. The game is getting very very close and I've been observing what's been going on on these other SBNation sites, and I just wanted to give everybody some tips and advice on what to expect.

1. If it all possible, upgrade your browser from IE6. Here are links to downloads to make sure you're up to date. I'd recommend even trying out the Firefox 3 Beta 4 unless you have lots of add-ons. It handles the dynamic comments very well.
2. They've recommended that we keep the threads to under 500 comments, so at right around 400 comments (if we get there), I will be posting a new Open Thread as a continuation. Look out for my mark (it will not be "dolphin porn", but probably something else we'll make up as we go.
3. Remember to keep the language relatively civil (Phantom).
4. If you haven't noticed, the comments automatically populate so there's no need to refresh every 10 seconds, forcing your browser to reload everything and muck up the works. Also, try out the Z-keyboard shortcut. It's like magic.
