Hey GLBers -- I'm about to win a gift certificate to WhatIfSports.com, good for one free season on the self-proclaimed "Internet's foremost authority on simulation". I'm not really sure what this business is, aside from what's on the website. Has anyone participated in this before? Does anyone plan on participating this season? Wasn't there an Irish guy around here that did this? Fitz-Hume or something? Does anyone know what the minimum number of words for a diary entry is?

I actually am

signed up for this. To tell you the truth its kinda intimidating. You basically control EVERY aspect of managing a major league franchise, from minors and up. I was active for about a few weeks and then i kinda lost interest due to A)the fact they are fictional players, B) it takes too much damn time.

That being said if anyone wants a free season they can pick up my team i payed for. Im maybe only a month into the season or so...if not feel free to use my password and look around and get a feel before singing up.

Ok as it turns out....

Im a liar. I signed up for the HARDBALL DYNASTY league for whatifsports. Its basically 15 bucks for 3 months, which is all i paid for. Aaaaand i believe my league has either kicked me out due to inactivity or the 3 months is up (i signed up for it in mid January so i don't know why i don't still have a team). Anyways sorry to get your hopes up guys, i shoulda checked it out before posting.
