Season Ticket Holders?

Since I joined the GLB community only after I was provoked my Drama's now legendary dissertation on Khalil, I probably missed this kind of post from last year.

Does anyone have season tickets for this year? This is my first year as a season ticket holder and I'm completely giddy about it. I managed to convince the wife that part of our monetary haul from the wedding was best used on a 20-game plan.

We'll be sitting about 6 rows back from the LF fence, right above the "N" in the Sony sign if I remember right. Section 128, Row 5, Seats 10 & 11.

Who else has sason seats? Where ya sitting?

Left Field
We have been out in Left Field (figuratively and literally) since Petco opened, and a few years before that in Qualcomm. It sounds like we are actually very close to you. I forget exactly where we are this year, we had to move because my sister-in-law wanted in, and my daughter is too big to fit in my lap for nine innings. We are either in 128 or 130.

Awesome
We've sat out there for a couple games and we really liked the vantage point. It's a little hard to make out action to deep CF, but I love the angle to home from there.

Is there any good way to keep track of pitches from LF? Whenever I visit other stadiums, I always find myself missing the pitch count scoreboard.

Yeah
Sometimes CF is hard to see. You can see the info on one of the long horizontal score thingies. You can't see the scoreboard though. They added TVs in for replays and stuff after a couple seasons, but not all the seats get a good view of them. You can see the right field wall scoreboard though. That lower left field section is awesome because it is pretty much separated from the rest of the park, so the concessions and restrooms are easy to get to, almost never busy and just at the top of the stairs. It is one of the sections that park passes gravitate to, so sometimes you get some jackasses, especially near the end of games. Beyond that it is one of the better sections as far as people go, and the fans tend to get into it nicely.

Be honest
how much did that dowry factor into you marrying her?

100%
I could still be a free man if I didn't like good baseball seats so much.............

Sammy G's Seats
Sammys wife blessed me with their seats once and they are awesome! The best seats I've ever, ever had... for probably any sporting event actually. The only problem is some of her "family" bring half of a Trader Joes with them and eat the entire game. It's partly amazing and somewhat destrubing at the same time. Sammy is a lucky guy, all my wife has season tickets to is the "Nag-Fest".

Are you
related to the Ideckers by any chance? (I might have the spelling wrong)

Season Tickets
My Family shares a full season with a few other families. Section 101 right behind home plate. Had them since Petco opened and back a looong time at the Q too. Those went a long way in getting me a World Series ticket in 1998!
You must defeat my dragon punch to stand a chance.

Nice
My parents have full season tickets (that they split with 1 family) in 111. Great seats.

I've sat in J, G, and the other areas behind homeplate for my birthday a few times. Truly amazing. Loved watching Jake dismantle the Pirates from there last year.

My dad
has had season tickets for about 30 years.

Section 107, right behind the Padres dugout.

Dad and I
Had seats in 109 row 13 the past 2 years. Not getting 'em this year but those were some fun times

Mom, sister and I
have 20-gamers again. We are buying a bunch more single games tomorrow.

We are in the back of Section 132, one section away from the bullpen.

waaaaaaaaaah!!
I miss mine (you can guess where they were).

Had those as a 40 game plan the first 3 seasons at Petco then had to give it up thanks to $$ and time. My baseball buddy is just too busy with his own sports life to commit to anything. So now we mooch off our friends who have season plans to go to about 10 games a year. I'm there a little more often sometimes by myself (because I love the game more than anything and don't care one bit about going alone - only child ;-)) and also with a friend from work who's hubby is in the military and often cannot go with her.

13 Game Plan
This season I did the 13 Game plan. I'm all over Toyota Terrace this season, mainly in sections 213 & 215.

I'm going to more as the company I work for doles out tix for the day games and Mrs. Sqrunt gets tix from the company she works for.
