Around SBN: Interview With UMD Athletic Director, Dr. Debbie Yow

A friend of mine was in a group in a Las Vegas bar on Sunday night that included Jake Peavy and the word is Peavy is fired up to join the Cubs.

He's so excited, I hear, that at one point he sang "Go Cubs Go" at the bar after a "Brooks and Dunn" concert he attended with Roy Oswalt.

ugh.

I hope he has to come back to the Padres now just so that he has to play on a crappy team.

I hope everyone realizes this isnt going to happen.

He is a luxury and Towers is asking alot.

I obviously don't know the names KT and Hendry are talking about

But what the media is reporting does NOT impress around here.

2009 San Diego Padres. Not as bad as Aztec Football!

Jake Peavy

Just made my s-list. It now includes a top 3 of Dane Cook (he has a permanent #1 spot), Trevor Hoffman & Jake Peavy…..you’ve been removed from the list Scan!!!

scan went from the d-bag list to the s-list...

nows he’s not on any list? what list do you put scan on?

by zotzotpadre on Dec 9, 2008 1:07 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

I've got a lot of lists

Scan is now on my “his hair is sooo damn pretty I just can’t be mad at him for to long but I still don’t like his broadcasting style” list.

Roman Modrowski
is the online sports editor for the Chicago Sun-Times. He was a beat writer for the Bulls and Notre Dame football. He also covered prep sports. Roman is a native of East Chicago, Ind., and a graduate of Purdue University Calumet.

In other words, he’s Chicago’s Steve Quis. And I’m not sure which is worse, the Chicago part or the Quis part.

That's one of those fake blogs

that steals contents from other sites.

Here’s the original from the Channel 4 blog.
