My only advice if you do make the trip? Don't take your shoes off in the sand in Petco Park's "beach." As I walked back to my hotel, I began feeling pain in my left foot.
I reached down and plucked out of my sock an old, sticky Jolly Rancher candy that might have been in the sand since the Padres' last game in September.

That sand is seriously gross. They’d be better off getting rid of it all together. It’s not like the beach where your baby to sand ratio is like 100 sq. meters to 1.
