This segment included an interesting phone call from Kevin Kouz er uh "Phil."

at 6:17 in the interview:

Kevin Kouzmanoff as Phil: You've been very successful umm in baseball your whole career and I just love watching you, I mean you are super baseball player

Adrian: I appreciate that.

Phil: Umm you know...today was gay pride day, did you celebrate it today?

Adrian: Huh? No, of course not.

Phil: I know you're married but I'd like to get your side on Proposition 8.

Adrian: Well you know I was raised Catholic and I'm a Christian person so my beliefs are there.

Phil: Yeah so... I'm from a family of five brothers and I was the only one that turned out gay --

Edgar: It's Kouz.

Reminds me of when my sister had a closed-minded boyfriend and I posted a few “m4m” casual encounters ads on craigslist with his name and number. I’ve always loved Kouz but he just moved up a few notches in my book. Awesome…

I also liked what he said about the team this year.
Saying they will go out there and play hard, admitting that many people may doubt how good they will be.
This situation could help take the pressure off some guys and put them in a position to succeed instead of a position to fail.

I take back a little of what I said about the Darrin Smith solo show

I get the feeling if Philly Billy was there this moment wouldn’t have happened. The interview atmosphere seems looser without him there.
