Peavy is on a train or something

Padres say Peavy is headed to Cubs, Braves or Dodgers

"The train has left the station," Towers said at the conclusion of the general manager meetings, "and I don't know if it's coming back."

I love a good f'n train analogy there is nothing better than that sh*t.  Peavy's being traded.  I'm f'n thrilled.  Choo! Choo!

Towers, who expects Peavy to be traded before the Dec. 8 winter meetings, said one of the three teams wants a decision by Nov. 14, the first day free agents can solicit offers from all clubs.

"We're not at a point where we've agreed on players coming back," said Towers, who added he is also considering three- and four-team trades. "It all depends on if we get the optimum deal we're looking for."

They haven't agreed on the players but they've agreed that they are trading Peavy?  What is this sh*t?

Can someone please give me some good news?  How about you Axelrod?

"Jake's preference is to stay in the National League, and preferably out West because he moved his family (from Alabama) to San Diego," said Axelrod, briefed Wednesday by Towers.

I know a place in the National League AND out West. AND his family won't need to relocate.  I'm not going to tell you where it is though because I hate you.

“Mr. Towers draws a lot of water in this town. You don’t draw shit, Peavy. Now we got a nice, quiet little beach community here, and I aim to keep it nice and quiet. So let me make something plain. I don’t like you sucking around, bothering our citizens, Peavy. I don’t like your jerk-off name. I don’t like your jerk-off face. I don’t like your jerk-off behavior, and I don’t like you, jerk-off. Do I make myself clear?”

Now, Ward

Don’t you think you’re being a little hard on the Peaver?
